A healthy mouth has a neutral to alkaline pH. Acidic foods and drinks (processed foods, sugary/sour candies, citrus/tomato, soda, coffee, alcohol) can cause our mouths to become acidic, which promotes erosion, decay and biofilm growth.
Our tooth powder’s alkaline pH helps to neutralize cavity-causing acids and supports a healthy oral microbiome, which is vital for preventing cavities, demineralization, plaque, gum disease (gingivitis), and bad breath.

Wet toothbrush and shake off excess water. Dip bristles into powder or sprinkle onto brush. Brush twice daily.
Helpful tips:
- Shake water off your toothbrush before dipping bristles - you don’t want water in the jar, nor do you want the powder to disappear along with the water dripping off your brush
- No need to coat the entire brush - ⅓ to ½ of the bristle tips will do
- If you don’t like the idea of dipping into the jar, you can sprinkle a pinch of powder on your brush or shake some powder into the palm of your hand or the lid first
- Tap powdered brush on the front of top teeth to distribute some powder and then start brushing bottom teeth (or vice versa)
